A campuswide collaboration
The Aging Brain Initiative is an MIT campuswide call to action to solve the mysteries of the aging brain and improve treatment and care options for neurodegenerative disorders. This powerful collaborative effort draws expertise from across MIT—neuroscientists, biologists, computer scientists, economists, and engineers—all working together to bring their insights into this approach to exploring the breakdown in the brain as it ages. Below is a list of founding and affiliated faculty.
Above: Emery N. Brown, Li-Huei Tsai and Ed Boyden: three of the ABI founding faculty members.
