Professor David Hubel and Professor Torsten Wiesel gave a special talk on Early Explorations of the Visual Cortex, followed by a discussion moderated by Professor Mark Bear on contemporary issues of visual cortex plasticity and visual information processing.

This event was a PILM Postdoc Association initiative sponsored and hosted by The Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, The McGovern Institute, and The Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. It took place on Friday, October 14, 2011.
